file compression makes files smaller. it reduces the physical size of large files using techniques to remove or summarise redundant or repetitious data.
·
Identify three authoring software packages that you will use
and thoroughly discusses the advantages
and disadvantages of each.
photoshop: you can clear up blemishes and imperfections in photos , remove and change backgrounds etc. but learning how to do this is difficult.
Garage band: you can easily save to a .MP3 file and while it remains in a garage band file, you can make as many changes necessary. if saved on a USB, you can open the file on any computer with garage band. but files can be quite large if left in garage band file format, which is why .MP3 or .MOV is recommended. most people do not have garage band at home unless they download it.
iMovie: You can edit video footage or create your own footage to edit. you can bring files from other programs such as photoshop or garage band. you can create individuality and originality in assignments.
When working in groups, all students must work from one computer and once it is exported, no changes can be made. The longer your movie is, the longer it will take to export to a format viewable by others.

diagrams of each.
linear storyboards are when one screen follows another in a similar way to the pages of a book.
non-linear storyboards allows screens to be linked similar to a website, where pages link to each other in any useful way. this is useful for products where user interactivity is important.
